Green Mountain Tribe is a group of mountaineers who wants to protect and serve nature on its best. Green Mountain Tribe means "tribu ng luntiang kabundukan" or a tribe who lives on a green mountain, because philippine mountains are green mountains. Thats why it was called GREEN MOUNTAIN TRIBE. The group was founded last March 25' 2006 by a group of individuals who share common passion for nature and the fun of exploring mountains with the group. Everyone is free to join the group or vice-versa(free lance mountaineers). The group doesn't have any Officers, but only Organizing committees who planns and leads the group on every exploration. Everyone can be an Exploration Leader (E.L.) on a climb depending on his/her familiarity of the mountain. Every member has a designated obligation for the group to be able to practice their own capabilities of being a responsible leader and a responsible mountaineer as well.

We are the GREEN MOUNTAIN TRIBE and we are proud to be one!!!
